TEACHERS & COUNSELORS

HELPING YOU HELP STUDENTS

Providing a comprehensive understanding of their post-high school options empowers your students to make informed decisions and ultimately find the career path right for them. While college is a great option for many graduates, it’s important for school counselors and teachers to encourage their students to explore all of the alternatives, including the unionized construction skilled trades.

FOURTH YEAR FLOORLAYER APPRENTICE

“I would tell high school students to not dismiss the apprenticeship. Consider it with the same level of thought you would college.”
